62nd running of the Rolex 24h weekend
MOTORSPORTS EVENTS
Thurdays race weekend starts...
We had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2024 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona International Speedway. Our thrilling experience began on Thursday, where we spent the day at the infield, eagerly watching the exhilarating Miata race unfold. In between races, we explored the various vendor and manufacturer tents, and even took leisurely strolls through the bustling garages. As the sun set, we were captivated by the electric atmosphere that enveloped the race track. Friday brought more excitement as we witnessed the intense practice sessions, preparing the drivers for the main event. We made sure not to miss the BMW M Endurance Challenge, a race where GT4 and TCR cars fiercely competed for four hours. To fully immerse ourselves in the action, we opted to watch this gripping race from the grandstands, providing an unparalleled view of the heart-pounding moments on the track.
Race day
It's Saturday, and it's time for the main event. Before the race begins, we stroll through the garages, getting an up-close experience with the cars and interacting with the drivers and crew in the pit lane. Once we're done, we make our way to the grandstands to prepare ourselves for the excitement. We're about to witness 59 cars and over 100 drivers from 4 different classes share the track for an exhilarating 24 hours.
As the night falls, we take a short break and return for a breathtaking fireworks display. We rest for a while, eagerly awaiting the break of dawn. With just a few hours remaining, we head back to the grandstands to witness some intense battles on the track. Finally, it's Sunday at 1:40, and the checkered flag waves, marking the end of another incredible Rolex 24 weekend. We're already counting down the days until we can return next year.
